Karachi is a mega city and it has been established long ago many people across Pakistan are shifting here and turning out their life towards good in this city of lights. After establishment of many things and facilities there was a requirement of independent educational board that was named as board of intermediate and secondary education Karachi that is abbreviated as BISE khi. This board was established in the year 1950 and it was formed under central legislative act No. XVI of 1950. Initially board office was opened in an single room office but then this office was shifted and opened in its new building constructed head office is located at Dilawar Figar Road, Block 5, Karachi.

First president of this newly formed BISE Karachi board was Mr Sultan Mohyuddin and before its formation educational responsibilities were controlled by university of Sindh. Main objective of the board is to conduct examination for 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class examination and then providing students with certificates after that. As examination that is board are not compulsory at 5th class but some students appear in them for practice. Jurisdiction of Karachi board is spread to the whole Karachi and there are many schools and colleges private or government are affiliated with the board.

SSC that is secondary school certificate examination consist of two aprts it is actually matric and the two parts are part I is matric and part II is intermediate examination. Examination for SSC are conducted in the month of March and April. Registration for these examination starts in the month of January and these forms are provided online and also posted to the affiliated colleges and schools. After Registration in the month of February students are provided with roll number slips and date sheets after that as usual this year also examination started and conducted in the month of March and April.

Now many students are waiting for results that will be declared on the official website of the board but no exact date is announced yet after that we will also display it on our website. Board provides students with past papers and model papers that let student find their weak points and also some questions are repeated in the upcoming papers.
